ALPACAS IN LANGEOOG…!

Yes, since May 2016, you can find Abolengo de Alpaca with a shop and a small alpaca herd on the North Sea island of Langeoog.

Here, you can find a large selection of our assortment – hats, scarves, gloves, socks, alpaca knitting yarn, knitting needles, and much more. An exquisite collection of high-quality bedding, ranging from mattresses and quilted duvets up to neck support pillows, will let you sleep as if on air.

Our farm shop is open Mon-Fr from 3-5 p.m. There is always a sign in the window showing the times when you can reach us. However, we are also happy to be at your service beyond these times after prior arrangement. +49 (0)171-3333004

WE ARE PLEASED TO FINALLY BEING ABLE TO OFFER YOU A GREAT ABOLENGO ALPACA EVENT ON THE ISLAND OF LANGEOOG.

We will meet at the gates by the alpacas (see below for route description) and will go together to the alpacas in the paddock. For all of you interested in alpacas or who would like to know more about these gentle animals! This event is not a seminar. It is rather about having (first) contact with the animals and experiencing to be on the other side of the fence, together with the “alpis”. We will provide you with first insights into the keeping, care, and feeding of alpacas. Besides that, you will get to know our alpaca herd on Langeoog from up close. In the end, each participant will receive information material about alpaca products as well as a pair of our finest Abolengo alpaca socks (at a value of 24,50€) in our shop in the “Peerstall” (riding stable).

Cost contribution per person 39€ – duration approx. 1.5 hours. This event is for adults and teenagers from 14 years on.

Dates

Probably from mid to late May we will be able to offer the first dates on Langeoog.

We will meet at the gate at the pasture of the alpacas.

We recommend sturdy shoes, appropriate clothing depending on the weather and long trousers.

Unfortunately, dogs are not allowed because they may intimidate the alpacas.

Further dates will follow regularly. For a group of 6 persons and more, we are happy to make individual appointments.
