ALPACA HIKE (4 km/2.5 mi)

We are pleased to offer you an alpaca trekking experience across the Münsterland. A long, guided walk with an alpaca, including some refreshment and homemade snacks.

The event will take about two hours in total.

• Feeding alpacas and information about alpaca keeping and care
• 1-1.5 hours alpaca hike (guided by two people from Abolengo)
• Homemade organic snacks, juices, coffee, etc. included
• A pair of our Abolengo finest alpaca socks (24.50€) and a pair of alpaca socks (9.90€) in your desired size included
• One alpaca to each person
• Vouchers already purchased can be redeemed as usual

The presentee can sign up for an appointment on our website after having received a voucher. We are continuously adding new dates (about 3-5 dates per month). When purchasing a voucher, you do not yet have to set a date.

Fee: 75€ per person. On request, one accompanying person per alpaca guide is possible for an additional charge of 45€.

Total length: 4 km. Sturdy shoes are indispensable. Experience with animals is an advantage, but not a must. There is a briefing before the hike.

You can only participate in hikes with prior registration using our calendar.
This calendar-booking is brand new. We are always happy to receive suggestions for improvement.

A walk with our alpacas brings many positive benefits for body and soul – even when the weather is not cooperating. We also hike when it rains…
Engaging at the pace of the alpaca will become the mantra of every hiker who dares to venture with such a four-legged friend into the beautiful countryside of the Münsterland. Alpacas are cautious and reserved – slowing down will be the motto of the day. If you want to have a walk with the alpacas, with us, you will have the possibility. You can decide whether you prefer to guide an alpaca on your own or if you would like to share a four-legged friend in pairs. It just feels so good to look into the distance together with your alpaca and leave the daily routine behind you. Even if you are not hoping for any short-term changes from a hike with alpacas, it will at least lift your mood for sure.
